Sue is a mother and grandmother and has lived in Ely for 50 years. She is community focused and works hard to get residents views heard. Sue’s background is Caring/Carer Support and disability issues.
Cllr Austen was elected as Mayor and Chair of the Council from 2020-2022. She currently serves on the Personnel, Finance & Governance, Assets, CIL, Christmas Lights and Planning Committees and represents the Council on the Ely Ribe twinning group.
