Richard Morgan was elected to the City of Ely Council for the North Ward in the 2019 local elections and was elected as Mayor and Chairman of the Council for 2022-2023. Richard has been associated with Ely since 1979.
Richard currently serves on the Planning and Assets Committees and is the Council’s representative on Prickwillow Village Council.
Richard works for a British multinational groceries and general merchandise retailer in Cambridge. He is a former school governor; a trustee of various charities and was a lay representative for the Diocese of Ely on the General Synod of the Church of England between 2017-2021.
