Rebecca Denness

Rebecca’s background is as a career civil servant working at the National Archives project managing major digitisation projects and at the Department for Education within Government Office Network on workforce policy.

Rebecca moved to Ely in 2004. She was first elected to the City of Ely Council in 2019. Her particular areas of interest at the Council are Inclusivity and Equalities through work with the Access Group and Inclusivity Working Group. She chairs the Climate and Environment Committee and represents the Council on related forums. She is an Ely Trinity Dole trustee, sits on the Cawdle Fen Internal Drainage Board and represents the Council on the Ely Allotments and Gardens Association.
